LA Southwest Women's Basketball Philosophy
Welcome to the 2017-2018 season of Los Angeles Southwest College Women’s Basketball!
I’m very excited to be part of a tremendous athletic tradition at L.A. Southwest College and it is my top priority to help build the women’s basketball program into something that the school as well as the community can be proud of.
My goal every time we step on the floor is to prepare our young ladies mentally and to improve their fundamentals, so they can move on to have successful careers at four-year colleges and universities - as well-prepared student-athletes.
Academics is a very important part of my coaching philosophy. We can’t be committed to what we do as a team on the court if we are not as committed in the classroom and it is my belief that with a degree, our student-athletes are prepared to achieve more in life as well-rounded young adults.
Thanks again for all your support,
Head Women’s Basketball Coach
