The core purpose of Los Angeles Southwest College
Career, Transfer, Pathways & Jobs Center (Career Center) is to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and insight in career development, professional development and employment processes.
The mission of the Career Center to assist students with positive career explorations, whether their chosen career path includes pursuit of experiential educational experiences, pursuit of an AA degree, certification or the quest for post-graduation employment. The target market for our services includes the undergraduate and graduate student population and, those employers and education institutions interested in recruiting.

We look forward to assisting our students and alumni with career exploration, internship, job preparation and job searching techniques. Employers, we are very excited to help you recruit our students and alumni by accessing our College Central Network system.
The Career Center has collaborated with Student Service and campus departments introducing students to possible employment with new and existing partnerships. We provide workshops to students entering and re-entering the workforce. Students first is our primary goal.
The Career Center can also assess student values, interests, strengths, and abilities through career assessments. (Example: Eureka Self-Directed Search and Work Values).

The assessment is administered and interpreted in the center, if you are in need of this service. You may also find other Career Resources through our online College Center Network (CCN).

Hours of Operation
Monday: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
