College Committees

All-college committees recommend actions. The actions to be taken will determine where the recommendation goes. It is also the obligation of Administration to create policy resulting from need and after discussion.

Budget Committee		Strategic Planning Committee
The Budget Committee is to ensure that the college budget supports the college's mission and goals and links the college budget with strategic planning. Read More....		The Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) is the shared governance body whose charge it is to guide the strategic (long range) and annual planning process on campus. The SPC oversees college planning, its implementation, and provides an on-going framework for monitoring the college strategic and annual master planning efforts. Read More....

Career & Technical Committee		Student Learning Outcomes Committee
On October 3, 2008, LASC’s CTE General Advisory Board met and agreed to this mission statement for the CTE General Advisory Board: To advise LASC on the general direction for the entire Career and Technical Education (Workforce Development) program at the College.
