Program Review
What is Program Review?
LASC’s program review process is designed to provide faculty and staff with an opportunity to reflect on program effectiveness and to identify ways to improve program success. These periodic reviews analyze selected data to identify future objectives and requests the resources required to meet these objectives. The objectives developed in the program review process are an integral part of the college’s strategic plan, directly informing the annual Integrated College Operational Plan (ICOP) and ultimately resource allocation. More information can be found in the Strategic Planning Handbook.

You've Completed Your Program Review--What Happens Now?
Each Fall, the objectives and resource requests developed in your program review will be sent to the Strategic Planning and Budget Committees. Program objectives will inform the annual ICOP, and resource requests will be prioritized and sent to the College President. Resource allocation decisions will be returned by the end of the Spring semester.
What's New in Program Review at LASC?
LASC is currently a pilot campus participating in the development of the LACCD’s Institutional Effectiveness System. This system will allow for the completion of program reviews online and improve the articulation between the program review objectives and other aspects of college planning. More information about this system will be coming soon!
