The procedures set forth in the handbook are intended to help members of the Los Angeles Southwest College community to understand and implement an effective, participative, goal-driven planning and resource allocation process. Planning teams and committees should follow these procedures as closely as possible, but nothing in the handbook should be construed as contrary to contract, board rules, or staff reporting obligations.
