The Registered Nursing Program at Los Angeles Southwest College provides a basic curriculum in Nursing Education that satisfies requirements for the Associate Degree in Science with a major in Nursing. Successful completion of the two-year program prepares the graduate to function as an entry-level nurse, and take the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX-RN) leading to licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
