Student Health Center and Free Mental Health Services
A variety of services are available at the Student Health Center located in Student Services Building, Room 115:
- Basic first aid
- Physical exams
- Sick visits
- TB testing
- STD testing
- MMR vaccine
- Hepatitis B vaccine
- Tetanus vaccine
- General blood tests
- Blood pressure tests
- Pregnancy tests
- Condoms
- Health pamphlets
- Referral services
- Health assessment, counseling, and referrals

A Registered Nurse is always available during office hours.
Appointments are highly encouraged; walk-ins are also accepted.

Free TB Skin Tests are given on Mondays ONLY. No appointment is needed. You must provide a current student identification or a printout of your class schedule.
Students who need medical assistance on campus when the Student Health Care Center is closed should immediately contact the Deputy Sheriff at 323-241-5311 or dial 911

Student Mental Health Services provides free individual counseling to address academic, emotional, developmental, social, relationship or other personal issues. Counseling services are offered on a short-term basis and designed to help students successfully accomplish academic goals.
All appointments and information are kept strictly confidential.
Faculty and staff members who encounter students who may require the assistance of the center’s mental health professionals should complete a referral form. The form can be hand-delivered to the center in the Student Services Building Room 115 or attached in an email sent to LASCHealthCenter@lasc.edu.
