Sample Assessment Test Questions
Los Angeles Southwest Colleges uses a computerized multiple choice assessment test to measure your current skill level in English and mathematics. Your assessment test scores and multiple measures are used to determine your recommended English and/or math placement.
The following website is available to view samples of the type of questions included in the assessment. To view the website please go to:

- From the left-hand menu, click on “Accuplacer Practice”.
- Scroll down until you reach the “Self-Assessment Module” section.
- Select the subject you wish to view. Keep in mind that the sample questions you will see are not a study guide. Rather, they are designed to give you a general idea of the types of questions you could see in your assessment.
