California Community Colleges are now offering associate degrees for transfer to the CSU system. These degrees are designed to provide a clear pathway to a CSU major and baccalaureate degree.

Articulation Agreements
An articulation agreement is an agreement between two college campuses that ensures the transferability of courses to meet major and general education requirements.

Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) Programs
Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) programs are designed to make transitioning from a community college to a 4-year university easier. Requirements for each of these programs/agreements vary. Use the resources and links below to explore TAG programs.
The University of California (UC) system utilizes a TAG submission form for: Davis, Irvine, Merced, Riverside, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz. The links below provide eligibility information for each University.

UC TAG websites and TAG submission deadlines are listed below:
- UC Davis TAG website - TAG submission: September 1st to 30th for Fall transfer
- UC Irvine TAG website - TAG submission: September 1st - 30th for Fall transfer
- UC Merced TAG website - TAG submission: September 1st to 30th for Fall transfer
- UC Riverside TAG website - TAG submission: September 1st to 30th for Fall transfer

- University Links Program - The UC Links provides an opportunity for freshman from feeder high schools to have guaranteed admissions to UCSD with a 3.0 GPA.
- UC Santa Barbara TAG website - TAG submission: September 1st to 30th for Fall transfer.
- UC Santa Cruz TAG website - TAG submission: September 1st to 30th for Fall transfer
- CSU Northridge TAG website - Fall Application Period: October 1st to November 30th
