Everyone is invited to attend!
Black History Month: Odessa Cox Forum
Hosted by Lance Robert
Sponsored by the LASC Cultural Heritage and Arts Collective

The Forum is named in honor of our principal founder, Mrs. Odessa Cox. Mother Cox saw her 27-year vision become reality when the Los Angeles Board of Education approved plans for a new community college. LASC opened its doors on September 11, 1967. Today, LASC remains an educational and cultural hub for the surrounding communities. This year’s theme is “Challenging the status quo.” The format will be a panel discussion followed by tributes and Q&A. Our special guests are the daughters of Odessa and Raymond Cox: Reba, Brenda, and Dr. Sandra Cox.
