LASC Celebrates AANAPISI Week

This September, LASC proudly joins the nationwide celebration of AANAPISI Week, taking place from September 23 to September 29, 2024.

AANAPISI Week highlights the importance of Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institutions (AANAPISIs), a designation created by Congress on September 27, 2007, to expand educational opportunities for low-income, first-generation Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) students.

Join APAHE during AANAPISI Week 2024 for a virtual panel. You will hear from higher education leaders on how AANAPISIs serve, educate, and prepare the next generation of AAs and NHPIs to be changemakers in their communities. Panelists will also share perspectives on AANAPISI programs' challenges and offer policy recommendations.
